    Highly accomplished electrical/electronics design engineer with demonstrated ability in product definition, product design and development.

    Over twelve years experience within a small business environment, with direct responsibility for product definition, design engineering and marketing; eight years experience within National Lab R&D projects as a senior design engineer and ten years of engineering & engineering management within the Aerospace industry.

    Some accomplishments:
    Established an electronics capability for NWL Transformers permitting entry into sophisticated Power Supply and Controls markets. Personally responsible for product definition and conceptual designs that launched NWL as the predominant player in this market.
    Accountable for increase of market share in ESP Power Supply market from 35% to over 80% for US market.
    Created a market-focused division within NWL and increased sales by 30% in the first year through innovative designs and customer/market focus.

    PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
    Jan 1999 to Present: INDEPENDENT CONSULTANT:

    Currently engaged as an engineering, marketing and technical consultant.

    Performing services such as ESP power and Control analysis, product design, technical writing, technical training, product specification, testing and commisioning. Capabilities include the design and manufacture of production automation and test equipment, including R&D efforts.

    Nov. 1997 to Dec. 1998: SILICON POWER CORP., Malvern PA
    Vice President, Operations; Semi conductor division

    Operations manager of a $10 MM company engaged in externally funded R & D, engineering and manufacturing of leading edge, high power semi-conductors. Responsible for leadership of a 30 person manufacturing operation and a 4 person sales and marketing team.

    Sept. 1995 to Nov. 1997: NWL TRANSFORMERS CORP, Bordentown NJ
    Vice President and general manager of Power Systems Division.

    Head of a division formed to improve company focus on growth potential in the high-energy Power Supply market segment. The products offered are typically DC power supplies above 20 KV, from 20 KW to 3,000 KW. The market includes OEM with long term relationships, large dollar value one-time end users, National Labs & Universities. Increases sales/shipments from $6 MM to $10 MM in two years through new product designs and market support focus.
    Direct responsibility for marketing, sales, electrical & mechanical engineering and customer service (12 direct reports).

    June 1984 to Aug. 1995: NWL TRANSFORMERS CORP, Bordentown NJ
    Vice President and general manager of Environmental Technologies Division.

    Responsibilities include technical leadership and direct supervision for a 20+ person staff (Marketing, Sales, Engineering) for a $10M+ annual sales division. The products offered include high voltage Power Supplies for use on commercial Electrostatic Precipitators (55-80 KV,
    40-120 KW) with embedded computer controls along with various other CPU based controllers associated with ESPís. The market includes OEM of the ESPís as well as Public and Private electric generating plants and Pulp & Paper mills.
    This division grew from $6.5M to $10M+ in a declining US market.

    June 1976 to May 1984: PRINCETON UNIVERSITY, PLASMA PHYSICS LAB
    Senior Professional Staff TOKAMAC FUSION REACTOR.

    Lead a team of engineers and technicians in the design, development and construction of the CICADA control system for DOE funded project. Advanced technology in the areas of distributed instrumentation systems and high speed data transfers.
